The project is called “RAZ-DVA” — a collaboration between our art group and artist Maksim Svyashchev, who works under the delightfully cryptic alias YOMOYÓ.

The idea is simple and a little sentimental: we introduced our toys to each other, and they instantly clicked, counting together like kids on a playground — “one-two, tra-la-la.”

Our toy comes from the “varenye organism” universe: an abstract childhood rocket, the kind that looks half–plasticine, half–DIY building kit.

Maksim’s toy, meanwhile, is a Dymkovo figurine — that bright, old-school Russian folk ceramic creature from the village of Dymkovo, carrying a whole other century on its back.

We brought them together — two lives from two different worlds — and they decided to hug.

From that embrace grew a large inflatable sculpture, built in Saint Petersburg and then wandering across Russian cities for several years, popping up at festivals like a cheerful, oversized traveler with its own secret itinerary.
