This was a commercial commission: a window installation for a boutique that was still under construction inside a Moscow shopping mall.

Nothing mystical — just an upcycled fantasy.

We drove to a plastic-recycling dump, sorted nearly a ton of detergent bottles with our own hands, washed them, stripped off the labels, brought them back to the studio, and built a maze out of them.

A plastic maze — the maze humanity is trapped in, with no visible exit.

The irony was sharp: the clients commissioning this piece were about to open a store that would inevitably contribute to the same consumer plastic cycle.

And yet they agreed to the joke.
They embraced it.

For that alone, endless respect.

The installation was 6 meters long and 2.5 meters tall, large enough that it didn’t even fit on the floor of our studio — we had to assemble it in separate chunks.

A bright, unapologetic little monument to the absurdity of modern consumption.
